Hayley and Dee decided to have two days of wedding festivities, one of which was to honor Dee’s heritage with a traditional Indian ceremony and the other day was to celebrate Hayley’s Western culture.
On the first day, the Indian ceremony was held to honor Dee’s family traditions and it was such a wonderful way to kick off the weekend. Shawna Yamamoto and Co. created a beautiful ceremony site, with lush greenery and vibrant colored garlands draping from the custom built mandap. The ceremony was filled with music and laughter and one of the most memorable moments was after Hayley walked down the aisle with her uncle when the veil that Dee was waiting behind was dropped and the couple saw each other for the first time. Their smiles were contagious and their love for each other shined so brightly for all to witness. After the memorable ceremony, Hayley and Dee hosted a gorgeous rehearsal dinner and welcome reception in the Rotunda Ballroom. Centerpieces comprised of red, pink and coral roses, dahlias and bougainvillea accented by rose gold vases and candles. It was an incredible, gorgeous and fun-filled day that set the tone for the entire weekend!
After a momentous first day of celebrating, Hayley and Dee were once again surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends for their second ceremony and reception. Hayley was a vision of beauty in her gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown that took everyone’s breath away. Lining the aisle were lush delphiniums, created by Shawna Yamamoto, that continued up to where Hayley and Dee said their I Do’s. There was an abundance of laughter and tears as they said their emotional vows to each other and it was truly special to witness. Following the ceremony, guests were ready to party again! A romantic setting was created for the reception with the help of soft ambient lighting by Shine Lighting. Tabletops were adorned with candlelight, lush centerpieces comprised of white roses and ample greenery that also tied into the green hedge wall backdrop behind the head table. The love that Hayley and Dee have for their family and friends shines through the gorgeous images so vividly, as their smiles lit up the dance floor. Midway through the reception, Hayley changed into a delicate short Monique Lhuillier dress that was a little bit more comfortable for dancing – which was a good thing because the dance floor was packed all night! And another fashionable touch, Hayley surprised Dee with custom his and hers bomber jackets. It was an incredible weekend full of memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations, Hayley and Dee!
