Meena and Nimesh’s wedding by Details Details

Meena, Nimesh and their families created multiple days of joyful celebrations at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach CA.

Meena and Nimesh started their wedding weekend off with an incredible Sangeet. Design elements, created by Shawna Yamamoto and Details Details, consisted of a luxurious cocktail hour with daybeds adorned with custom made pillows and trays overflowing with floral arrangements and candlelight, as well as an enormous customized hedge bar that was definitely a show stopper! The ballroom was transformed with white draping along the walls as well as from the ceiling to create separate tents with lounge seating beneath. Lanterns and vibrant orange marigold garlands and floral arrangements popped brightly against the white draping and gold mirrored tabletops. Guests dined on delicious food and enjoyed many entertaining dance performances throughout the evening. The night was filled with dancing, eating, laughter and of course, lots of love for Meena and Nimesh. It was such a wonderful way to kick things off!

After an amazing Sangeet, there was no doubt that Meena and Nimesh’s wedding day was going to be an incredible celebration full of fun and most of all – love! Meena was a vision of beauty in her Sabyasachi lengha that was perfectly complemented by her gorgeous jewelry that adorned her from head to toe. After the Baraat, where Nimesh was driven in a customized NYC taxi cab, we began the processional into the ceremony at the iconic Pelican Hill rotunda. The existing structure had soft draping, floral bands, lush tall centerpieces and lined the aisles with green hedging, all created by Shawna Yamamoto. The ceremony was full of traditions, music and it was so incredible to witness the happiness and love between these two lovebirds and their families. It truly was such a joyous occasion! Cocktail hour was held on the Terrace, where guests enjoyed drinks and delicious bites while enjoying the breathtaking sunset. Meena and Nimesh were able to sneak into the ballroom for a few quick photos by photographers Lin and Jirsa, before guests arrived. White draping and chandelier treatments of natural lush greenery served as the backdrop to tables with tall and low lush centerpieces comprised of white roses tulips and orchids and ample greenery.
