In their first day of wedding events Sharan and Victor held their mehndi on the beaches of Playa Mujeres. Escaping from the norm of an indoor ballroom the couple decided to have the clear blue waters, the white sands, and the ocean breeze as a warm welcoming to all of their guests. There is nothing like escaping to an exotic location with all of your friends and family to kick off your wedding weekend. Sharan’s light yellow lengha was a perfect fit for a beach mehndi. The flowing of her lengha and embroidered bodice was perfection. Victor’s pop of pink accented Sharan’s lengha perfectly. As a tip, when planning your outfits for any wedding or pre wedding event keep in mind that your outfits do not have to match perfectly. Sometimes a little difference in colors or textures can make a big difference and can be a great unexpected surprise.
The environment that you provide for your guests to enjoy your wedding and pre wedding events is key. In this destination wedding the bride and groom’s guests enjoyed having their mehndi applied to their hands underneath a large white tent. Their guests loved the ocean view and the sea breeze. “I loved having my toes between the sand while I was getting my mehndi applied” said one of their guests.
