Roshni and Jack’s wedding by Photographick Studios

Roshni is the ying to Jack’s yang. To say they are perfect for each other would not represent their union well enough. As they walk hand in hand and share the story of how they met and where they picture their future, it’s hard not to smile. They exude happiness. It’s the type of happiness that brightens your day just by thinking about them. They met through mutual friends and a friends party, and through Jacks charm, sincere love for others and foodie heart won over Roshni. Their first date was in Arlington, VA where Roshni worked as a lawyer and over time, promotions and opportunities Jack moved to Texas to pursue his career. Over flights, skype calls and the phone their love grew deeper, their bond stronger and with puppies in tow a house become a home and a family was born.

On their wedding day Roshni was a vision of style and grace in an embellished a Sabyasachi lehenga and dazzling custom Christian Louboutin high heels, that were autographed by Mr. Louboutin himself! Her maang tikka reminded us of old world Bollywood style that is simply as classic as it is breathtaking. She took our breath away with her style, elegance and beauty! Their three day wedding affair started with a Haldi/Grah Shanti puja, followed by a Mehndi and then a Garba/Sangeet. The next day Jack teed off with his groomsmen and family as they played a few rounds of golf as Roshni relaxed and was pampered. That evening they had a beautiful Meet & Greet with a ceremony and reception to follow the next day.

They were married in a gorgeous outdoor summer ceremony at the Keswick Luxury Resort in Keswick, VA. Their bright yellow and peach mandap by the masterminds at Imperial Décor, made for the perfect summer wedding backdrop. Their traditional Hindu wedding included fusion elements to play homage to Jack’s family traditions as well. Surrounded by family and friends, Roshni and Jack made their rounds around the sacred flame and soon became husband and wife.

Their reception was equally beautiful as it was heartfelt. Their outdoor wedding reception under a beautiful tent included hues of turquoise, yellow and peach. The couple laughed and cried as family and friends shared loving stories and wished the couple well. Their guests danced the night away and literally ended the night with a celebratory bang with a dazzling firework display!
