The newest trend in wedding invitations is watercolors. From wedding maps, to save the dates watercolor invites are a cool new idea in invitations. We sit down with Marketa of Bohemian Mint and chat about her newest designs in wedding invitees.
MW – What are some of the most requested items from your clients?
BM – I realized that over the past year, wedding maps have been one of the most requested items by my clients, so that’s something I have been creating a lot. And it has been so much fun! I mean, to the point that I get super excited anytime I get a custom wedding map request. I think it’s the traveler in me that really loves them that much. It gives me an opportunity to discover new parts of the world and to learn about different landmarks.
MW – What would you recommend to a couple who is having a destination wedding?
BM – I am a believer that your wedding invitations and Save the Dates should reflect your wedding location! If your dream destination wedding location has always been the Greek island of Santorini- with its bright colors and gorgeous architecture I would create a custom watercolor painting of the iconic Santorini and turn them into Save the Date postcards!
