You Won’t Believe What Happened at Harpreet and Kirndeep’s Chicago Wedding

Harpreet and Kirndeep exchanged their vows in the vibrant city of Chicago. Their day began with a delightful photo session, capturing cherished moments at some of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks. This photography tip applies not only to destination weddings but to all couples – dedicating time to explore various areas with your photographer provides a deeper connection to your wedding location. Opt for iconic locations whenever possible for a truly memorable experience.

Their ceremony took place at a local Gurdwara and was decorated with soft greenery and white roses lining the aisle.  Harpreet wore a cream and gold colored lengha with matching gold and cream colored jewelry.  Kirndeep wore both darker and lighter shades of blue accented with golds and creams to tie together Harpreet’s wedding lengha perfectly.  One of our favorite moments from their wedding was when they saw one another for the first time, the smiles on their faces seemed to light up the entire room.

Their bridesmaids and groomsmen wore a lighter shade of blue, almost a powder blue color.  The light blue color looked beautiful with Harpreet and Kirndeep’s outfits.  Each bridesmaid was given a bouquet of white roses and greenery that matched the decor inside of their ceremony.

Harpreet and Kirndeep decided that they wanted the same feel for both their ceremony and their reception so they carried over the lush greenery and white floral look from their ceremony to their reception.  Their main stage had a beautiful floral instillation over their Restoration Hardware style seating area, adorned with low side tables and of course tons of candles.  White linens mixed with dark chiavari chairs finished the look of their reception room perfectly.

Their reception was filled with a lot of fun, laughter and dancing.  As they walked into their reception their friends and family members greeted them while waving white linen napkins above their heads, it was a great way to kick off their reception and get everyone in the mood to have a good time.
