Gorgeous sunrises, the sound of the sea waves, perfect weather every day, and two passionate people in love – this set the base for Paayal and Samir’s destination wedding in Mombasa.
Their wedding was a stunning, crazy, three-day-long party with their closest family and friends. Samir’s haldi ceremony was an affair that even we couldn’t have imagined. After the main rituals were done, his friends and family covered him in haldi from head to toe! Their sangeet ceremony had some amazing dance performances by the family followed by a night of dancing and more dancing!
Their wedding ceremonies – yes, there were TWO! – were a dream! They had a Hindu wedding in the morning against the backdrop of the beach, followed by an Ismaili wedding in the evening. Paayal and Samir arrived with a bang at their reception later at night. It was an incredibly fun and lively event with the first dance, the best man speech and the groom toasting to his friends and family.
