Easy Go To Valentine’s Day Looks by Meagan MUA

Honestly, anything goes for a “Valentines Day” makeup look. You’ll see Red lips, Shades of pink, Smokey eyes, nude skin and everything under the sun. It can honestly be anything YOU want.

However, when in doubt, (or short on time) throw on a red or pink lip. This is an instant way to go from “every day”, to “V-Day ready”.
If you already have a “go-to” red or pink lip go a step further and add a smokey eye

For Ritcha’s makeup look, I created a soft smokey eye with a matte bold pink lip. Then used the “6 step smokey eye” guide to bump up her look from day to night.

Look 1 breakdown:
Glossier cloud paint in Puff & Haze
NARS smudge-proof eyeshadow base
NARS single eyeshadow in Talum
Too Faced Better than sex mascara
NARS power matte lipstick in Save the Queen

Look 2 breakdown:
MAC Kohl liner in Costa Riche
Colorpop eyeshadow “Deep Dive”
NARS single eyeshadow in Coconut Grove

For all you non-lip wearers… **Reminder**
Your options are limitless when it comes to lips. From Color to formula there IS something out there that will work for you. You just have to find it.
When looking for a lip, try narrowing down your selection by asking yourself what you prefer.

Do you like:
glossy lips?
matte lips?
Sheer color?
Bold color?
Neutral tones?
Vampy tones?
Long wearing?
Comfortable to wear?

Lipsticks come in all shapes and forms, it takes trying them to know if it works for you.
Pro tip- you can make any lip matte with a little translucent loose powder. (My favorite is by Laura Mercier)
