Desert vibes – the fusion wedding of Jenna and Tushar

Jenna met Tushar on Match.com, an online dating site, on March 15th, 2015. They were both living in Portland, Oregon at the time and after talking over the site, they made plans to meet up for coffee. The rest, as they say, is history. Jenna had always dreamed of getting engaged in India so Tushar made sure her vision came true. The couple traveled to India and Tushar proposed at a resort they had visited before.

Jenna and Tushar’s Indian fusion wedding was one for the books. When the couple toured The Paseo, they immediately fell in love. They were drawn to the desert vibe the venue exuded and the opportunity it gave to use their imaginations when it came to decorating. With this wonderful blank space to make use of and the help of Your Jubilee Wedding Planning, Jenna’s fantasy wedding became reality. Lots of bright colors were incorporated into their special day, such as cobalt blue, orange, pink, and purple. Luckily, Erika Greene was on hand to capture all the beautiful details.

The couple started the day with an traditional Indian ceremony with their nearest and dearest. From there, Jenna and Tushar kept the love filled day going with a more Americanized ceremony at the Paseo. This included a lively flash mob performed by Tushar’s family, a beer burro, and lots of henna tattoos. One special moment of the night was when Jenna got a henna tattoo of a coffee cup which paid tribute to when the two love birds first laid eyes on each other in that Portland coffee shop. In the end, the pair wanted to ensure that their guests had a memorable night, especially when it came to dancing. DJ Adi, from In the Mix Entertainment, made sure that happened by giving Jenna and Tushar’s guests a spectacular live drum performance!
