In Sabyasachi’s newest jewelry collection entitled “Dark Romantics” he has a collection of raw, ethnic pieces. Made out of hand-painted pieces of Indian miniature paintings, surrounded with uncut diamonds and pearls and layered with a hessonite and uncut diamond choker, dotted with tiger eyes.
“As a jeweller,” says Sabyasachi “I have an obsession for unpolished coral. Being a tactile person, their textures, fissures and imperfections translate to me, an unspoken tale of time. Paired with uncut diamonds and pearls, they can create unparalleled jewellery that has a refined baroque and pagan-rustic quality at the same time.”

“This place is a dream. Only a sleeper considers it real. Then death comes like dawn, and you wake up laughing at what you thought was your grief.” – Rumi
