They say that when two people are connected at the heart, it doesn’t matter what they do, who they are, or where they live, there are no boundaries or barriers; if two people are destined to be together, they will. Tina and Johann are an embodiment of such a connection. Their love was celebrated during their wedding events at Sherwood Country Club in Lake Sherwood, California. The lush green hills and majestic views of the Santa Monica Mountains provided the couple with a venue that astounded their guests. The wedding festivities began with a vibrant baraat procession led by an energetic dholi from Kumba Entertainment and a mobile DJ Omar Khan. The crowd danced through the procession, as our groom, Johann, entered in style on a golf cart, personalizing Tina’s family traditions. Following the baraat, the families and friends watched as Tina and Johann were married in a traditional Hindu ceremony, officiated by Saralaben Rajgor, in a beautiful mandap made of Roman white pillars adorned with pink and purple roses and drapery from Kumba Entertainment. The crowd enjoyed the union, as it was accompanied with a breathtaking view of the Santa Monica Mountains, reminding them that love can move mountains.
Following the wedding ceremony, the families and friends had an hour to freshen up and the Touch of Elegance team ensured that everything from vendors, accessories, guests and even the smallest of details, came together in a timely manner, to allow for a seamless transition to the reception. Oscar Naranja of Ziba Beauty, responsible for both of the bride’s breathtaking looks, helped her ditch her traditional bridal lengha for a sleek, classic look for the wedding reception. Manohar’s Delhi Palace provided savory Indian cuisine with a variety of spices and aromas, that guests enjoyed throughout the day. At the reception, in addition to tasting the delicious cuisine, guests witnessed unforgettable speeches and family performances, and all eyes were on the beautiful couple, as they danced the night away.
