Sunkissed and Smitten: Adesh and Poornima’s Riviera Maya Engagement

Adesh and Poornima met at the Chicago May Fest in 2013. Both happened to be in medical school. They are from opposite sides of North America, Adesh from Vancouver,BC Canada and Nima from Katy, Texas but stuck it through together. Four years later, they moved in together and started working as Family Medicine Resident physicians. Despite the grueling work schedules, they managed to plan a destination wedding which combined both Tamil and Punjabi traditions. Before any of their wedding festivities took place they managed to have some time together to do an engagement shoot in the beautiful scenery of Riviera Maya Mexico.  Looking at their photos one can almost feel the cool ocean breeze.

“We had amazing days but rainy nights in Mexico,” says Poornima “but despite the rain everything turned out beautifully!”
