Shahana and Zaid met through family friends and hit it off. Both living on opposite sides of the country but maintained a long distance relationship and became engaged in September of 2019. They planned their beautiful wedding for June of 2020 but due to COVID restrictions they had to postpone their wedding.
Realizing that they wanted to start their lives together as a married couple they decided to simplify their wedding to a beautiful intimate backyard celebration at the brides childhood home over looking the water.
The groom made his entrance via boat to the brides backyard and was greeted by family and friends. It was a beautiful weekend surrounded by the couples closest family and friends. The brides backyard made the perfect location, it being her childhood home and it also being her last time in her home before moving away. The decor was still very grand, and elegant but kept that intimacy of a micro wedding.
